Can Swansea Stop On-Fire Salah?

Later this evening, Liverpool will be attempting to extend their unbeaten run to 14 games across all competitions when they welcome bottom side Swansea on Boxing Day.

The Reds played out a thrilling, yet shocking 3-3 draw with Arsenal on Friday to stay ahead of the Gunners in the fight for fourth and can keep the chasing pack at bay with a win against the Swans. It’s still shocking how Liverpool’s defense give away goals.

Swansea will again be led by caretaker manager Leon Britton following Paul Clement’s sacking in the week before Christmas.

Britton steered the Swans to a creditable draw against improving Palace on Saturday and has his sights set on a shock win at Anfield.

Liverpool will be hosting Swansea at a game scheduled for 6:30pm Nigerian time today.

Liverpool midfielder Jordan Henderson will sit out the Boxing Day Premier League clash with Swansea at Anfield.

Henderson injured his right hamstring early in the 3-3 draw with Arsenal and has been ruled out by manager Jurgen Klopp.

Klopp insisted that while a few knocks were sustained against the Gunners, no others players were expected to miss out against the Swans.

Meanwhile, Kyle Naughton has joined the Swansea casualty list ahead of the Boxing Day trip to Liverpool. Naughton suffered a groin injury in Saturday’s 1-1 draw against Crystal Palace and Angel Rangel is set to deputise at Anfield.
