Ex-Boxing Champion Wladimir Klitschko Retires At 41


Ukrainian World heavyweight boxer Wladmir Klitschko has retired from the game at the age of 41, according to an official statement by his manager.

The veteran boxer lost his last fight to British boxer Anthony Joshua in April during a keenly contested bout in Wembley, London, with reports that a potential rematch in November is being discussed. However, the game will no longer hold due to his retirement.

Klitschko celebrated his last win over Bryant Jennings of the United States after World Heavyweight Championship boxing fight at Madison Square Garden in New York on April 25, 2015.

Klitschko held various titles in a glorious 21-year career as a professional after winning Olympic gold at the 1996 Games in Atlanta.

He was unified champion 2006-2015.
