Samuel Ajibola popularly known as ‘SPIFF’ in the comedy show ‘The Johnsons’ spoke about his career in the movie industry and how it all started. Born to Mr and Mrs Ajibola, his father who is a retired Navy officer and his mother, a retired banker, and also the first child out of three children started his acting career at age six after he particpated in a church drama titled ‘The Life of Samuel’.
According to him, his aunty took note of his talent at this young age and that’s how it all started for him.
Speaking with our correspondent at GreenNewsNG in an exclusive interview, he spoke on how he got his role as ‘Spiff‘in the comedy TV series ‘The Johnsons’ and how he has managed to sustain that character consistently. According to him, just like every other person, he had gone for the auditions and without having so much input like he has now, he got shortlisted and that’s how he got the role and of course, he developed his talent and character (SPIFF) overtime.
According to Samuel Ajibola, being consistent with the SPIFF character has been a bit challenging because overtime, people have come to love him and identify with the character especially children, and so, he had to keep working hard on a daily basis in other to improve on this character so that he won’t disappoint his young fans.
For Samuel , he feels blessed that he is one of the reasons why people are happy and laugh amidst the economic situation and this is one of the ways he has imparted lives with his career. Samuel Ajbola, who got an award for best comedy show and special recognition in the last AMVCA is also a content producer, he told our correspondent.
