Boxing legend Floyd Mayweather will take the ring once again in an epic bout against UFC champion, Conor McGregor on August 26 in Las Vegas.
Talks about the much anticipated fight have dragged on for months, as both camps have dallied on when the bout will take places, sparking several speculations from the boxing world.
However, UFC president Dana Whire has revealed that the fight will take place at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, United States of America and will be contested at 154 pounds.
The bout is scheduled to be a standard boxing fight with 12 rounds and will be fought with 10-ounce gloves.
It is understood that Nevada Athletic Commission have approved request from Mayweather Promotions about putting a boxing card on the scheduled date at the MGM Grand.
However, there are suggestions that the venue for the fight is subject to change.
Mayweather who retired from boxing in 2015 after racking a massive record o 49-0 between 1996 and 2015, decided to come out of retirement to fight against UFC Champion, Conor McGregor in a fight that could see each fighter coup as much as $100 million. A victory for the ‘money-man’ will see him reach a jubilee of victory in his illustrious career.
