Manchester City are reportedly lining up a summer bid for Arsenal defender Hector Bellerin.
The Spaniard was a subject of interest from the Etihad last summer due to his brilliant displays for the Gunners, the speculation cooled off after Bellerin signed another long-term deal at the Emirates.
City boss Pep Guardiola is believed to be an avid admirer of the famous La Masia graduate and will revive his interest in him as he looks to bring more reinforcements to his current squad despite buying nine players since his arrival last summer.
Although, the former Bayern Munich boss has not settled well as expected into the Premier League due to his team’s ailing form in the league. There are reports that Guardiola wants a new five-year deal in a bid to revamp the City side.
Manchester City’s right back position is currently being occupied by former Arsenal defender, Bacary Sagna but is said to be drawn to Bellerin due to his pace and creative skills when he joins the attack.
However, Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger might rule against a move for the 21-year-old defender due to his importance in the squad, coupled with the Frenchman’s resilence not to sell any of his stars.
