NYSC Member Shot By Suspected Armed Robbers


A National Youth Service Corps Member (NYSC), identified as Musa Kayode Noah, has been reportedly shot by suspected armed robbers in Warri, Delta State.

Reports gathered that the incident happened on Wednesday at Ugborikoko where the male NYSC member was allegedly shot near his waist by the robbers who rob him of his cash at gunpoint.

The Kogi born NYSC member with unconfirmed number 15B3550 lives in Lagos with his parents, Tribune reports.

Describing how the incident happened, the daily stated that he came to Warri from Ethiope East Local Government Area of the state to use a bank at Ugborikoko, along Airport road. After withdrawing the cash, the suspected men reportedly followed him and shot him before making away with his cash.

The Medical Director of the clinic, Dr Victor Oraegu, where he was rushed to explained to the daily that he lost much blood after the bullet pierced through his buttock but was immediately treated.

The Delta State Police Command, however, noted that the report of the incident was yet to reach the command.
