Barcelona like many other Spanish clubs are looking ahead to a 2018 full of potential with their victories.
In the Clasico at the end of December, they ensured they have a commanding position at the top of LaLiga and plenty to look forward to in all the competitions.
Their hopes in the transfer market centre around the arrival of Philippe Coutinho from Liverpool after their failed attempt last summer.

He is the big target for Barcelona like the big Christmas present children ask for more out of hope than expectation that it can really happen. However, this time it looks as though Barcelona will eventually get their man with Liverpool looking more receptive.
2. Yerry Mina
The scouting department have worked hard on assessing what Yerry Mina can bring to the club and they are keen to pay what he is worth and not more nor less. The Catalan club want to pay nine million euros and are ready to go up to 12 million euros if they can sign him this January.
3. Turan’s Departure
The club are not happy with the way that Arda Turan’s departure has dragged on, to the point where they are not ready to off-load him on loan to a club that is prepared to pay his salary. It is not easy though as he has not been playing and his value is constantly going down.
4. Ease Players’ Salary Burden
With the renewal of Lionel Messi’s contract and the possible arrival of Coutinho it means that the club needs to off-load players to ease the financial strain and Deulofeu is one player that could make way along with the recently fit again Rafinha. Mascherano, meanwhile, is already set to go to China.
