Chidera Ejuke is delighted with his performance for CSKA Moscow in their league win over City rivals Spartak Moscow.
Ejuke came off the bench to score the third goal late in the game to give CSKA Moscow a 3-1 win over their City rivals.
Speaking to the Club’s website after the game, Ejuke described the results as an important derby win for CSKA Moscow.
“To be honest, it was a really good win for the team. I think everyone played hard today and spent a lot of energy,” Ejuke told cska.com.
“Winning the derby is the most important thing. And, of course, I’m glad I scored a goal, I hope this will be the first of many.
The former Heerenveen winger also added that he’s delighted to score his first goal for the club against their bitter rival and hope to score more.
“It’s great to score. This is my goal here, I just want to do my best, give my best to the fans, the team, the club. I hope that over the course of the season I will score further.” he said.
