Alex Iwobi makes impressive start to his season for Everton

Alex Iwobi makes a perfect start into the 2020-2021 campaign as he scored and assisted in Everton 5 – 2 thrashing of Fleetwood Town on Wednesday.


Iwobi who was left out of Everton’s previous three matches due to injury made his first start of the season for the Toffees scored in the 49th minute to put Everton 3-1 ahead.


The former Arsenal forward also provided an assist for two goals hero Richarlison, but only for England’s number one Jordan Pickford to make a  blunder three minutes after the restart.


Everton later recovered from the set-back with Bernard firing home the fourth and substitute Moise Kean completed the route with Everton’s last kick of the night.
