Afelokhai talks about Super Eagles’ October friendlies

Rivers United goalkeeper Theo Afelokhai has insisted that experience will play a major role amongst the newly invited Super Eagles goalkeepers ahead of the International friendlies scheduled for October.
”I won’t say their call up is bad – the three guys are Nigerian, they are young and are qualified to play for the National Team,” Afelokhai said.
”I know that the coach wants to build them up, but one thing is clear you need the experience to mount the goal post and that’s the truth.” He concluded.
Dele Alampasu (FK Ventspils in Latvia), Matthew Yakubu (Skf Sered in Slovakia), and Maduka Okoye (Sparta Rotherdan in Belgium) will be fighting for a place in the Super Eagles team against Tunisia and CIV in October.
