Nigerian youngster Paul Mukairu made a dream start to life in the Belgian Jupiler league when he netted on his official debut for Anderlecht on Sunday.
The Nigerian prodigy scored the winning goal as Anderlecht defeated Royal Antwerp 1-0 at home in the Belgian Jupiler game.
Mukairu who started the match from the bench was subbed on in the 63rd minute and the 20-year-old made immediate impact when he scored all important goal in the 76th minute to give Anderlecht the win.
Makairu’s goal lifted the Vincent Kompany’s tutored side to 5th on the table with 20 points from 11 matches.
Mukairu, who joined Anderlecht from Turkish Super Lig outfit Antalyaspor, will be hoping to continue his good start in the game against Gent.
