Plateau United goalkeeper, Dele Ajiboye has tagged his side’s draw in this season’s CAF Champions League as a difficult one.
Ajiboye insists Plateau United will be facing a very difficult opponent in Simba Sports Club in the first preliminary round of the competition.
The Peace Boys will host the Tanzanian Kings in the first meeting later this month, before traveling to Benjamin Mkapa Stadium, Uhuru Stadium for the return leg in December.
Simba is currently on 3rd on the Tanzanian league table, but they have been the most dominant club in the recent years winning a treble in the 2019/2020 season.
Ajiboye who recently penned a new deal with Abdul Maikaba side said they are not totally happy facing Tanzanian giants in the first match, because of their qualities.
“We are too happy with the draw, because it’s a difficult one. You know, Simba SC is not a small side on the continent, they are very good team.
“We’re hoping for better draws but now we don’t have a choice than to work harder and hope we get a good result against them,” He told brila.net.
