Rivers United will not underrated Futuro Kings, says Coach Eguma
Rivers United coach Stanley Eguma has stated that his side will take the minnows in their group of the CAF confederation cup competition seriously.
Despite being the overwhelming favourites to advance to the next round of the competition, Eguma told brila.net that he won’t underrate their less-fancied opponents, adding that his side will prepare adequately to ensure victory.
“Well, it’s football, I don’t underrate any opponent, especially when it comes to African football,” the former Enyimba assistant coach said. “It all depends on the approach to the game and the caliber of opponents that you have.
“But for us in Rivers United, we are going to prepare very well. We are putting everything to ensure that we get the victory.
“Don’t forget, it’s a two-legged competition where you play at home and also play away. So, you cannot underrate any opponent,” he concluded.
