The Super Eagles returned to the Country after the 2022 African Cup of Nations qualifying match against Sierra Leone on Tuesday.
Players and officials of the Eagles touched down at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport around 3am local time on Wednesday, the Super Eagles Twitter handle confirmed.

The Eagles couldn’t pick a win over two legs in the tie against the Leone Stars and had to settle for two points following draws in Benin (4-4) and Freetown (0-0).
However they remain top of the log with eight points, while Benin Republic are second with seven points, Sierra Leone is third with three while Lesotho occupied the bottom of the group with just two points.
