The lanky forward found the back of the net in Crotone’s away defeat to Sampdoria in their Serie A clash on Saturday night.
The match ended 3 – 1 in the favor of Sampdoria and Nwankwo scored the consolation goal for his side from the spot late in the match.
The 28-year-old has now scored four times in 13 league outings for Crotone this season.
The Russia 2018 FIFA World Cup striker was subbed off in the 87th minutes and was replaced by Luiz Rojas.
