Eguma targets maximum points against Abia Warriors

Rivers United Coach Stanley Eguma expects his team to go all out for victory against Abia Warriors on Saturday.

Rivers United started the new League campaign with a 1 – 0 win over Rangers international on Wednesday and want to make it two out of two wins this weekend.

Meanwhile, Abia Warriors had a different fortune in their opening season’s game suffering a 1-0 defeat to Enyimba.

Speaking to the media ahead of the encounter, Eguma said the team team is buoyed for the match.

“Well it’s the league, we all look for three points at every away encounter. We are looking out for three points and that’s another derby and we expect a tough one but we are prepared for it.

“Having won against Rangers , we expect to win the Abia encounter. We expect to go to Abia State to get a good result.” Eguma said.

The match is schedule for 4pm on Saturday at the Aba Township stadium.
