Nasarawa United Skipper Emmanuel Makama talks tough ahead clash with Heartland

Nasarawa United Skipper Emmanuel Makama says the club want to continue their impressive start to the season against Heartland this Sunday.

The Solid Miners will be hoping to make it two wins out of two against Heartland FC who themselves almost got away victory at Katsina United last Sunday.

The match at the Okigwe stadium on Sunday will also give both sides perfect opportunity to start the new year on a good note.

Speaking ahead of the match, Makama told brila.net, they have perfected their strategies for the match and believe his side can hurt their hosts.

“The match against Heartland is very important, we want to start new year on a good note” he said to brila.net.

“We have already perfected our strategies and we are surely targeting three points.”

We have worked on their weaknesses and their strengths, I believe we can hurt them in many ways,” Makama concluded.

It would be recalled that Nasarawa United defeated Wikki Tourists of Bauchi 2 – 1in their first match of the season last weekend.
