Ilechukwu wants to consolidate on win against Enyimba ahead trip to Rivers

Coach of Nigeria Professional Football League side Heartland FC Fidelis Ilechukwu has stated that he is targeting a consolidation on the last league win recorded against Enyimba ahead of the team’s trip to Porthacourt where they face Rivers united in one of the NPFL matchday 5 action on Sunday.

Ilechukwu speaking in a chat with said the last game is a moral booster for the team with the work and result achieved and remain hopeful that the team is able to maintain that same frame of mind in the bid to see that the team gets a positive result at the end of the day.

“That game is a moral booster because at the end of the day our game plan worked for us. We still have a lot of lapses but most important thing is determination.

Our next game is going to be a tough game considering how the team is in form against Rivers united, but we are going to do everything possible to see if we can get something in Rivers.”
