Purity hails encouraging wrestlers outing at the ongoing champion of champions tournament

Nigeria women wrestling coach Akuh Purity has hailed the encouraging outing of wrestlers at the ongoing Champion of champions wrestling tournament in Yenagoa which started over the weekend and put together by the President of the Nigeria wrestling Federation to assess the state of wrestlers after about a year of inactivity.

Purity speaking in a chat with brila.net said the performance put up so far has been satisfactory while the Federation can only hope that wrestlers become better and stronger for the challenge of the Olympic qualifiers with more competition to be in too shape for the challenges ahead.

“The competition has shown that we still have very serious wrestlers as some of them completed and we appreciate the way they came out, they were smoking, all the teams we saw in them was a very encouraging one and we believe that the Olympic qualifiers we are going to do well. Honestly I am very satisfied with what I saw here.”
