Theo Afelokhai: Nasarawa United not a threat to Rivers United title ambition

Rivers United goalkeeper Theophilus Afelokhai has stated that Nasarawa United’s current form and position on the NPFL table is not a threat to his side’s title ambition.

In an exclusive chat with brila.net, Afelokhai urges Nasarawa United to enjoy their stay at the top of the League for now and utilize their form appropriately.

“Yes, I am happy for them and I pray they continue to do well, time will come and we will separate men from the boys, anyone with the opportunity to grab the points should continue to do so,” He said.

“I don’t think Nasarawa united are a threat to our title ambition to be very honest, but I’m happy for them because they are doing well now.”

Rivers United will take on Kano Pillars later on Wednesday and a win in the encounter will take them coming closer to table-toppers Nasarawa united.
