Sodje charges NFF on grade A friendly games for Super Eagles

Former Super Eagles defender and member of the Nigeria Football Federation’s Technical study group Sam Sodje has stated that he expects the Nigeria Football Federation to ensure the national team of Nigeria is kept busy during the international window despite the shifts in date of world cup qualifiers from June 2021 to September 2021.

Sodje speaking in a chat with brila.net said bringing the players together helps in building the team too and it is imperative to take advantage of that window to have the Super Eagles play top quality friendly matches.

“It’s always nice to come together sometimes and play games with the date been changed, definitely I’m sure the NFF will know that we will need grade A games just to get the boys ready and same time we still need a system of play and playing more games will help us know the system. So I’m expecting them to play more friendly games.”
